Doug Tompkins is a mountain climber, Deep Ecologist, and forward-thinking businessman. Tompkins was the founder of The North Face and co-owner of the ESPRIT clothing company. Lito Tejada-Flores was born at 13,000 feet in the mountains of Bolivia. Since then he has had an affinity for high places. While primarily a filmmaker, his credits include a three part technical skiing education series "Breakthrough on Skis, "which is also a book by the same name, he has also authored numerous articles and books on topics ranging from skiing to whitewater kayaking.
