ACHTUNG! A child should never use a this product unless the battery compartment cover has been properly. Only an adult should replace the batteries. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw. Slide the battery compartment cover open. Remove the old batteries and dispose of immediately. Install new batteries with the plus (+) sign facing up. Close the cover and secure it with the screw. Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (zink-carbon), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. This product uses two AG3 DC1,5V Button cell batteries. (2 x 1,5V = 3V) use batteries of the same equivalent type. The supply terminals are not be short circuited. Remove exhausted batteries from this book. No mercury internationally added.ACHTUNG! Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children.
